A Time to Pause and Reflect

Winter Solstice has come and gone.

December 21 was the shortest day of the year for those of us living north of the equator. We will now get a little more sunlight each day, until Summer Solstice comes next June.

It’s also the time of year for Winter Holidays, of course. Some of us are taking time off to celebrate, visiting with family and friends. Many of us are working during the Season, and some folks are working even harder and longer now than in other times of the year.

As we mark the passage of this holiday season, whether we are celebrating or working, may we have the time to pause and reflect: on all that has happened, on what we are doing, and what is coming next. Maybe even time to reflect on why we are here.  May we continue to be grateful for the good things, and may we be aware of our options for the New Year.
